N.O.V.A. 3 will be the 3rd installment of the N.O.V.A. franchise. It is a very visually impressive game that combines everything that you love about fantasy and combat into one clever package. The first two N.O.V.A. installments have strong similarities to another popular gaming franchise, HALO. The 3rd N.O.V.A. installment seems to be going in a slightly different direction, but it does not sacrifice any of the quality graphics or intriguing storyline.
The original N.O.V.A. was an extremely popular game. N.O.V.A. stands for Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance. N.O.V.A. was developed strictly for Apple products by Gameloft. You must have an iPhone, iPad, iTouch, or iMac in order to enjoy this game. It is a shooter game set in the distant future. The shooter will hunt down and kill their alien attackers taking full advantage of their large arsenal of futuristic style weapons.
N.O.V.A. 2: The Hero Rises Again
N.O.V.A. 2 was released just a year after the original 12 level N.O.V.A. The strong response to the release of the original had Gameloft working overtime in order to be able to release the next installment quickly. N.O.V.A. 2 is much like the original installment. It is a multiplayer first person shooter game that provides additional levels and missions, but still has you fighting off alien attackers. Both the original and N.O.V.A. 2 have received acclamations for the high quality gaming, and the graphics seem to get better with each installment. Like most sequels everything is bigger, better, more gruesome, and more options for weapons.
N.O.V.A. 3 is the most recent installment of the fun futuristic alien fighting shooter game. N.O.V.A. 3 was released for both iOS and Android systems, so it is much more widely available than the original installment. N.O.V.A. 3 was released about a year and a half after the 2nd installments, but had a very different tune to the style of game play than the first two installments. N.O.V.A. 3 brings the trust old commander Kal Wardin back to earth. The fight for earth changes from the first two installments. The first two saw earth as an inhabitable planet, but this installment N.O.V.A. has found a way to help make earth habitable again. The battles take place on earth and are more challenging and creative than the first two installments. There is an entire new set of enemies, and Val battles through N.O.V.A. 3, but promises that it will be his last.
N.O.V.A. 3 has been publicized as being one of the most graphically attractive games that is on the market today. The extended audience into the Android market has made it possible to have a much larger following, and it is a creative Sci-Fi style game that has extremely realistic graphics.
The N.O.V.A. series was originally created for Apple products, so you tend to get the best quality graphics when you are using an Apple product. People have been raving about how great of a game the 3rd installment is, but some have had their own set of issues with it. It costs around $7 for a download, and when you are playing on your own or just rating the first person options of it the game cannot be touched for quality. Most of the complaints of the game come from the multi-player functions. It is created by Gameloft so it has the Gamelive capabilities. Overall players are extremely pleased with the N.O.V.A. 3 installment and find themselves spending hours on end playing the 10 levels to once again save mankind and create a better universe somewhat alien free.
