New Tiny Wings game available for iPhone users
Gaming is one of the major things that people like to use their Dialaphone.co.uk mobile phones for, which makes the demand for new game apps incredible, and sees new ones launched at a bewildering rate each year – as developers compete to make a name for themselves by creating a game that could potentially become a worldwide hit. 2012 has been one of the biggest years yet for the launch of new mobile game apps, and the pace is not likely to slow down at all in the second half of the year. One of the newer ones to hit the Apple store is the Tiny Wings 2 game.

Although the name would suggest that it is a genuine sequel to the popular original game, in fact Tiny Wings 2 is more of an update which is intended to serve as both a ‘thank you’ to all those who downloaded Tiny Wings – from its developer Andreas Illiger – and a kind of stop-gap for fans while they wait for his next new game. If this makes Tiny Wings 2 sound like something you hardly need bother with, this is not necessarily the case because – as an update – it does include several new features that do mark it out as being preferable to the original version for users.
These new features include far better Retina graphics; iCloud synching – which allows you to play across all of Apple’s iDevice range; improved language support options which now incorporate French, German, Italian and Spanish amongst others; and Flight School, a new playing mode that enables the gamer to compete against three birds controlled by AI. Furthermore, the long-awaited iPad compatible HD version of Tiny Wings has also hit the App Store at the same time, which provides the option for two gamers to play using the same device. Tiny Wings 2 and Tiny Wings HD thus have a considerable amount to offer iPhone and iPad users, and what’s more, if you already have the original Tiny Wings; these updates are free to download.
